 Chris Coyle Orlikowski is a dedicated artist working in oil and pastel. Chris paints
landscape, still life, pets, animals and more. She works both in the studio and
outdoors en plein air, often portraying the Colorado landscape and the animals
who live there. Chris also creates unique hand crafted jewelry featuring
handmade silver pendants, beads, and intricate wire wrapped designs with natural stone and gemstones.
Every day, Chris and best friends Nubby and Freckles walk across
the driveway to the studio/gallery that Chris shares with her foster bunnies Thumper and
Daisy. She always has a number of new projects in progress
including several painting and jewelry projects! There is always something new
to see.
Chris is a member of PAAC, Plein Air
Artists of Colorado. Every tuesday the PAAC group paints at a different location
in the greater Denver area up into the Foothills. You never know what you'll
find at these locations, so it is always a stretch to paint something new! These
plein air studies are often posted on Chris's Blog at
www.chriscoyle.blogspot.com. Finished paintings are posted here
on the website.
You will find more paintings of both
current works and archived paintings. In addition, Chris offers custom pet portraits of
your best friends that may be created from favorite photos, or if possible,
from a combination of photos and from meeting your pet in person.
